Susan Blanton was born in Indiana and now currently resides in Georgia with her daughter and son. Susan was inspired by her artistic mother.
Her mother was a watercolor artist and had many paintings throughout their house. However, Susan preferred charcoal and pencil and started drawing at a young age. It wasn't until just recently that Susan rejuvenated her interest in art.
She is self taught in acrylic and has been commissioned to do portraits for people and pets. Her mother's work has been published and Susan found a desire to become published as well finding children's books the most appealing.
